If you can reproduce the crash, you should install the debug enabled packages and provide a new backtrace. In addition to FiNeX comment: If you cannot reproduce the crash: What were you doing right before it crashed? I can reproduce the crash each time, Oliver. It happens when I open the browser, click the applications and then try to open an application folder. It crashes everytime. I just installed Kubuntu 8.10 and am still working out the kinks. This bug is fixed in KDE 4.1.3.
