In the new fancy view, read mails are usually not shown (collapsed view by default). When using the quick search bar, hits should be automatically expanded, since the user expects the results to be shown instantly

Screenshot1: this is how it should look like. The view is fully expanded

Screenshot2: a read email was found, the view is collapsed. The user has the impression he has found nothing or has to check every date for the found emails

Fixed in 4.8.3 or 4.9
