I have received many emails since installation but this is the first one I have tried to send it just closed kmail when I clicked the send button. When I tried to restart kmail I get the message that it is already running.

Sorry but I don't fully understand what is the bug. You say that kmail crashes when you click the send button? Is this crash still reproducable? Some more information would be appreciated. Thanks.

Hello! Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but this version of Kmail has been unmaintained for many years so I am closing this bug. Please try using the latest version of Kmail to see if your issue persists. If it does, please submit a new bug in "kmail2". Thank you!
