on command lines during crash appears :

KCrash: Application 'kopete' crashing...

The MSN code has been replaced starting with KDE 4.2 Beta 2 with a plugin that
does a better job of supporting the newer MSN features and some of the older
ones. Please test with that version when it's released soon and reopen if you
can reproduce.
