When I am receiving a file from someone .. and he cancels in the middle of the transfer .. kopete does not detect the cancellation but it hangs the file transfer dialog .. for example displaying 43% for a very long time (possibly forever?!)

The MSN code has been replaced starting with KDE 4.2 Beta 2 with a plugin that does a better job of supporting the newer MSN features and some of the older ones. Please test with that version when it's released soon and reopen if you can reproduce.
