Package: kmail
Version: 2.0.9 mandrake 20001203
Severity: wishlist
Installed from: mandrake cooker rpms

My computer is dual-boot with Win98SE on one side and
Mandrake Linux from Cooker on the other and i'd prefer
to do as much as possible in linux.

Currently on the Win98 side I use Netscape Communicator for
my mail and browser. I like the fact that KMail and
Netscape can usually read each other's mail files.
Unfortunately there are problems having to do with the case
of the names of mandatory folders.

In order to share mail between the two sides of my
computer all of the mail files reside on the Windows
partition and I've created a link so that the mail folder
is linked to the location in Windows. The problem is that
the Trash file and Drafts file are not able to be properly
recognised so KMAIL tries to create them. Since they
already exist KMAIL says it can't create them and bombs.
If I delete them and restart it creates them and works
fine.

Would also be nice if the Netscape index files could be
ignored from the list of folders as it makes the list
twice as long.
