Description Andreas Goeb 2008-11-18 14:51:48 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.1.3)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

I had two messages in my outbox, each of them being a few hundred kB. When I hit "Send Queued Messages", one of them seemed to be sent, and then the program crashed.

After starting KMail again, there was only the second message left in the outbox, the first one was gone and appeared in my "sent" folder. I use a disconnected IMAP mailbox and configured my sent messages to go to the IMAP "sent" folder.

I hit "Send Queued Messages" again, and the second message was delivered and moved to "sent" without further problems.

Unfortunately, I have been unable to reproduce it with kmail 1.10.90 (svn trunk r8852222), both delayed mails are in the dimap sent folder (I think stored locally), and the backtrace provided does not contain enougth information,
please look at
http://techbase.kde.org/Development/Tutorials/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports
if you are able to reproduce the crash.

Thank you Jaime. Unfortunately I am not able to reproduce it myself, as I just noticed. So most probably there is no good way to find the reason. I will install the debug packages to get better backtraces next time.
