Description Ritesh Raj Sarraf 2008-11-17 14:29:25 UTC
Version: 1.10.3 (using 4.1.3 (KDE 4.1.3), Debian packages)
Compiler: cc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.26-custom

This is an irritating bug and is somewhat similar to bug #163413.

1) Run kontact.
2) Leave it idle. After sometime, it'll pop-up kwallet's password.
3) Don't pass a password.
4) After sometime, kmail starts asking for individual account password.

Problem is, if you cancel those account passwords (because you know that they are stored in kwallet) and do a check-mail, it'll still ask for those account's passwords and not kwallet's password.

You can also exit kmail and start it again and do a check mail. The password pop-up will still ask for your individual account passwords and not kwallet's password.
In total, kmail has forgotten that kwallet has the passwords for all the accounts.

It is not similar, it is another consequence of that bug.

Marking as duplicate.
