This happens even when the option "show menu bar on new window" is disabled. This option is not used by konsole :-( (tested on current trunk) Confirmed here, running 4.2. beta2. Same problem here; even on startup the menubar is shown even while none of my session profiles have it enabled. I also noted that the action (view->menubar) is set to disabled so I have to click that action twice to actually disable the menu. In svn (soon RC) I can no longer reproduce this. I get this in RC1. When I select to have the menubar OFF in the default profile, opening a new terminal or tab will cause the menu bar to show. When I open the menu to select "show menubarm" it IS turned off by default; I have to check this option, and then again uncheck it to have the menubar disappear. Also, I have kept not configs around from 4.1.x; this is a fresh install. I can confirm that this is fixed in current svn, looks like it got patched shortly after trunk got unfrozen for KDE 4.3. :) |
