I would really appreciate to have the same style of "Show in Groups" in the open dialog. That makes it so easy to find the correct files.

Well, in the screen shot, you manage to get six entries displayed in a size that is actually bigger than the file dialog's size. Not sure if this should be done for the file dialog.

Anyway, there is a "Sort by Type" option in file dialog now, please clearify if this solves the bug for you.

No I would really enjoy the exact same view...
