KDE 4.1.71 Applications from the Nightly builds (deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/project-neon/ubuntu hardy main) do not allow input of Japanese. I have all settings for Japanese set and they work correctly with KDE 4.1.2 applications.

Maybe a problem with the packages? I am using anthy skim with KDE4 SVN version (updated as last week or so) with no problem.

Latest Kubuntu with ibus works perfect with Japanese input in all KDE, Gnome and Gtk apps.
