(Bug tracker doesn't actually permit me to select KDE 4.1.3, which is what Kubuntu is shipping) 

Any attempt to filter a user crashes KNode.

"Lower Score for Author" crashes immediately and leaves a partially built filter in the list.  Editing the filter to filter that author crashes on "OK" or "Apply"

Could you please install the kdepim-dbg package and provide a backtrace for this crash ?

It seems to be a duplicate of bug #170030
