Description Jacopo De Simoi 2008-11-11 02:19:13 UTC
Version: 4.1.3 (could not select in previous page) (using KDE 4.1.2)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Compiled From Sources

I use to have the terminus font as a monospaced font and I noticed that text fields (like this one) are rendered in white. If I change monospace font to any other bitmap font, they stay white.
If I change monospace font to any other tt font, they are rendered correctly

How to reproduce:
 1) go to bugs.kde.org - try to file a bug
 2) already the application names are white if rendered w/ a bitmap font (i.e. will be readable white on blue if selected)
 3) change to tt font -> fonts are rendered correctly

Expected behaviour:
Fonts should always be readable (black on white)

Cannot reproduce. Feel free to reopen this ticket if that is not the case for you with the latest release of KDE, v4.7.4 or higher.

I use latest git and the issue is still there.

Can you still reproduce it in Konqueror 4.8.4 or later?

I am still using git master…
Indeed this affects only the khtml component, kwebkit works fine
