in krusader using SPACE to calculate folder size, I get
6038443.9 TiB !!!!

it is causes by some files which do not have UTF8 encoding.

This:
-rwxrwxrwx 1 oernii oernii 948224 2005-10-28 16:32 ryb<E1>r.mpeg*

show in krusader as having 28GiB

Is this reproducible on a recent version ?

Well, i just created a test case and it seems this bug is still there. You can try for yourself with this tar. Unpacked it contains 3 files, 2 of which are ignored by the "calculate folder size"

http://www.oernii.sk/testfiles_kde_bug_174695.tar

Also: I cannot rename the files with crusader, i have to open a terminal do it by hand.

The real and undying problem is probably bug 165044 (a wontfix Qt issue) , since you can't rename those files .

Interestingly, the the file properties dialog of KDE seems to show the
size correctly in the last test case.
