I can't reproduce this. The playlist updates fine with the xine Phonon backend. Can you give an example stream that triggers the problem? Peter gave me this URL (a WMA stream), and I could reproduce the problem with it: mms://media.iwant-in.net/pop Created attachment 28403 [details]

*** Bug 175676 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** So, is this a Phonon or an Amarok problem? Does it work with other Phonon players? After reviewing the phonon code, I doubt if it is a xine bug. Anyone tried to play mms streams with the gstreamer backend? *** Bug 175904 has been marked as a duplicate of this bug. *** This is not going to be fixed before 2.0.0, retargetting. Any news on this? It's likely a Phonon issue, don't you think? So we should probably reassign it (if not yet fixed). Can't reproduce this problem any more with Amarok SVN trunk and KDE 4.2.2. The stream seems to update its metadata now. |
