Description Kelly Price 2008-11-02 15:45:05 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.1.2)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

I'm a die-hard X11 user, so I like the old X11 default mouse cursors. However, no matter what style I set in System Preferences, the Oxygen mouse style gets switched back -- ether in some applications that didn't get the note and switching back when I move back to the window decorations, or it just completely switches back after a few hours. It never survives a re-login or restart, and System Preferences says it's the default X11 when it shows Oxygen...

...which is UNUSABLE!

- Are you still having this problem with an updated version of KDE?
Thanks

I haven't checked into this since loading 4.1.x. I'll check 4.3.x to see if this bug is fixed, but it won't be quickly -- the 4.x series so far has made me go back to 3.5 for numerous reasons.

This bug has had its resolution changed, but accidentally has been left in NEEDSINFO status. I am thus closing this bug and setting the status as RESOLVED to reflect the resolution change.

Please close. I've switched to XFCE.
