Hi!

In 3.5.x, you can start apps with keyboard shortcuts (by assinging them to the entries in the kmenu with kmenuedit), and also switch the keyboard layout and do some window size manipulation with them. As I interpret the existence of the appropriate menus and dialogs in 4.1, this is also planned in KDE4, isn't it? Could some forced development be done on this? Because I really need kbd shortcuts, can't live without them! :)

Thank you,
Greetings,
Fabiano

What is the problem with them?

In 4.1.2, you mean? They are not there at all...

Custom app launcher could be set in KDE Menu Editor, maximize shortcut could be set in Global Shortcuts->KWin options
