Just for clarification: You are suggesting that the dropdown starts appearing without typing the :, so if you type "http" you want all URLs starting with www.http, http or http://, right? I'm not sure this is to be considered a bug. I guess the way it works right now is the intended behaviour. Yes. However in this only case my wish would be those at least which start literally with http. Otherwise it is really odd, when you have http;//www.google.pl and you have to type entire addres again (from http) and nothing appears as suggestion. Thus I think it is a bug. Splitting URLs into parts and then matching any piece is another story, and it was reported already. Actually that is not a bug but rather an intentional feature to avoid listing way too many potential matches. As such Konqueror's completion does not do substring matching like other browsers by default. If you want substring matching when you type http, press F7 afterwards and you get the listings you desire. Otherwise, instead of starting with the protocol, type the hostname of the desired site instead. This is by design and not really a bug. Whether that should be changed so that substring completions are the default is another issue altogether. Dear Bug Submitter, This bug has been stagnant for a long time.
