Description Silas De Munck 2008-10-27 22:17:07 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.1.2)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Gentoo Packages

It would be very nice to show a little map of where the picture was taken. Just a dot on a map in a circle possible with the name of the nearest town shown..

This one is definitively a job for KDE4

Too geewhiz. This is for a separate application.
A much better way to implement this would be an application that generates
new slides, using google earth for the map. Such an application could eitehr
present each slide full screen, with the map inset, or put the map next to the screen. The user could independently zoom the map tot he desired view, size
and placement.

To me this would be a better addin for KPresenter. Lots of things in presentations can use a map.
