Description Cervesato Andrea 2008-10-25 19:33:13 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.1.2)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Unspecified Linux

I use Archlinux distribution with KDEmod 4.1.2, nvidia 177.80-2 and xorg 7.3.

When the kwin effects are enable, firefox can't display any jpg preview on web, in particular images are black.

When i click on image for enlarge it i can see it.

I doubt this is a kwin-specific problem though...

clarification:

another way for see the image is change the desktop with "grid" effect and return to it.

The procedure:
1. go to google image and search a jpg
2. wait the downloading and preview
3. now the image is black. Change the desktop and return to preview desktop with firefox

this problem doesn't happen without kwin effects

Cannot reproduce, works completely fine here. Does it work in Compiz?
Comment 4 Cervesato Andrea 2008-11-20 20:31:20 UTC
i confirm...

this is a kdemod-core ( kde 4.1 with kde 4.2 porting for Archlinux ) problem. KDE 4.1 doesn't have this problem.

Scuse me
