Version:           1.10.1 (using 4.1.2 (KDE 4.1.2) "release 45.1", KDE:KDE4:Factory:Desktop / openSUSE_11.0)
Compiler:          gcc
OS:                Linux (x86_64) release 2.6.25.16-0.1-default

after internet interruption kmail hangs.
(to restore the internet connection I have to restart the cable modem and router)
the (permanent) internet connection kio_imap4 hangs forever
even shutdown of kmail does not kill the kio_imap4
has to be killed manually 
I open a new report as this one concerns KDE4
