Sentry Crash Report:

Description fabio de francesco 2008-10-24 18:48:08 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.1.2)
Compiler: GCC-4.3.2 Target: x86_64-pc-linux-gnu
OS: Linux
Installed from: Gentoo Packages

I use four Konsole(s) distributed across four virtual desktops. At least two or three tabs are open in each of the above-mentioned Konsole(s). A lot of other KDE applications are also open in the same four virtual desktop.

The problem happens when I leave the KDE session and then re-enter again by logging-in.

Each KDE application I had left open is properly restored (in the same virtual desktop where it was left open) but only one Konsole re-appears (with just one open tab) in the first virtual desktop. All the other Konsole(s) are lost.

All that is very annoying. I choose "crash" severity level, because the effects of that is like a serial crash that forces me to start all needed Konsole(s) again and again.

Regards,

fabio de francesco

Konsole in KDE 4.1 and below have no session management. This is fixed for KDE 4.2.
