Comment 1 kde rocks 2008-10-24 11:57:24 UTC
Also, please fix "kdesu" when used from kicker app's. This seems to work. . .
    * set password for root (sudo passwd)
    * add

      [super-user-command]
      super-user-command=su

      to either

~/.kde/share/config/kdeglobals

      or

/usr/share/kubuntu-default-settings/kde-profile/default/share/config/kdeglobals

Onya all, great work!!!
Comment 2 Urs Wolfer 2008-10-24 21:47:27 UTC
This backtrace is not useful; please see: http://techbase.kde.org/Development/Tutorials/Debugging/How_to_create_useful_crash_reports

Second report is not for KGet; please open an own issue.
Comment 3 Frank Reininghaus 2008-12-05 23:55:02 UTC
Looks like a duplicate of bug 168478 which is fixed in KDE 4.1.3. To upgrade to this version in Kubuntu, see http://www.kubuntu.org/news/kde-4.1.3. Could you try if it still crashes?
Comment 4 Lukas Appelhans 2008-12-06 16:46:49 UTC
So yeah, closing...

Lukas
