I have noticed that occasionally items vanish from a drop-down menu. Specifically, the program Okular has a "Settings" menu with a "Configure Shortcuts" item. This particular item sometimes vanishes from the menu on my system. During a single Okular session, the menu item is sometimes there and sometimes not there. 

It might be connected with the "Show toolbar" option and the "Full screen view" feature in Okular. Both of them hide and show menus and bars, and one or both seem to have to do with the dis- and reappearance of the menu item in question. 

I was advised to post the problem here, since the Okular developers apparently have no control over this.

Have you experienced this bug again with a recent KDE version? (4.1.3 / 4.2beta2 / 4.2svn) ?  Thanks :)

I have not noticed the bug recently, no. It is possible that it is gone.
