Your backtrace is not suitable. Install debug package for that. I use Mandriva 2009.0 here to develop. digiKam and co are recompiled by hand of course. The crash is not reproductible. It sound like a broken package installed. Gilles Caulier And the next crash on importing images or using the camera interface... this can't be normal :D Maybe a gphoto issue? OK.. found some tips. If camera SD card have only vieo(s) files (avi) then crash. If I make photo (jpg) then window show correctly and can download image and videos. Looks very similar to 169641.
