Sentry Crash Report:

Description Liviu Grigorescu 2008-10-19 22:31:20 UTC
Version: 2.0.0-beta2 "SVN TRUNK Space Odyssey" (using 4.1.2 (KDE 4.1.2) "release 44.2", KDE:KDE4:Factory:Desktop / openSUSE_11.0)
Compiler: gcc
OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.25.16-0.1-default

Pressing CTRL+DEL does not delete files. Rather it moves them into trash.
Pressing CTRL+S doest not start the search wizard.
Other shortcuts (CTRL+Y, CTRL+K) work ok.

The problems appear only when using krusader in non root mode.
When starting krusader as root, all shortcuts work.

This hapens for krusader 1.99.1.svn6082-5.8 installed from open suse 11 repositories.

Can't reproduce either problem using 2.4.0-beta3 as normal user. Close it as fixed.

Pressing DEL or F8 doesn't work. Even the action deleting from the menu doesn't work. Only right mouse -> DELETE works. I created a new file within Krusader to ensure that I have the right to delete it. You can see in the menu bar that the progress bar works but the deleting doesn't happen. I checked the keyboard shortcuts but this doesn't solve the problem. CTRL + DEL works.

Within a root session it works and ask me, if I want to delete the file.

@mail@christianbeitz.de: DEL or F8 moves to trash by default (can be set in "General" settings). I guess trash does not work for you due to your desktop environment setup.

Please create a new bug report if still relevant. This report is very old and certainly about a different issue that has already been solved.
