Version:           kopete 0.60.2 (using KDE 4.1.2)
Compiler:          gcc

Installed from:    Mandriva RPMs

Im using mandriva 2009 and kopete v0.60.2, I opend kopete and it asked for my mesenger log on and pass, so i put down my nick@yahoo.com, and kopete let me slide, but i cant logon because in yahoo you just ad the nick and not the @yahoo.com stuff, now i canot erase it from the profile. i tried going in to the menue, settings/configure so that i can ad another acount but nothing in that window works. i uninstaled the product and then instaled it again with mandrivas instalers but it does the same thing.if i open the configure window in kopete, it just frezes on me. im using a pentium III with 256ram.

Are you still seeing this issue? You should be able to remove the account from the kopeterc config file and then start Kopete again and you should be able to add a new account (as a workaround for your problem)

to fix this problem compleatly i had to buy more memory, i had to upgrade from 256mb to 1gb of ram and the problem was solved. The problem was the low memory issue. Kopete works fine.
