As far as I know daap does not support covers, but I don't know really. If it does amarok 2 lacks this feature, if it doesn't amarok could fetch the covers automagically on adding the tracks to the playlist as the playlist generally had on early versions for amarok 2.

Christian, sorry for the confusion, I think there is a misunderstanding from Simeon on how to work on this Google Code-In task.
