On openSUSE 11.0, Kubuntu 8.04.1, and Mandriva 2009 with KDE 4.1.2, this crash does not occur. It may be a problem with the Gentoo ebuild of KDE 4.1.2. I would suggest you try to reinstalling/recompiling KDE 4.1.2 to see if that fixes the problem. :-) Xtreme Kommander I can't reproduce this bug on openSuSE 11, Dolphin Version 1.1 Using KDE 4.1.2 (KDE 4.1.2) "release 44.5" Drag n drop works well. There have been some reports on drag&drop crashes that can be reproduced by some people, but not by others, see, e.g., bug 157630, bug 172000. I'm not sure if it's a duplicate of either of these, but one thing that might be useful to know is which Qt version you're using (to know what the line numbers in the Qt source files correspond to). My qt is version 4.4.2 from the official Portage tree. Hope this helps a bit. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 157630 *** |
