Version:           0.60.2 (using 4.1.2 (KDE 4.1.2) "release 44.2", KDE:KDE4:Factory:Desktop / openSUSE_11.0)
Compiler:          gcc
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.25.16-0.1-default

I use Kopete only with one Jabber account within a local area network (no proxy) and there are 119 contacts in my contact list.

Beginning with KDE 4.1.2, each time I start Kopete automatically with KDE, Kopete connects for a short time, even pops up new messages that I received offline, but immediately disconnects with an
"Connection problem with Jabber server on ..."
"There was an error in Protocol stream: Malform stream packet received"
Details: "Mismatched tag"

I'll append a screenshot of this. Thanks for lookign at this.

Can you still reproduce this with KDE 4.2 or later?

No, I'm on 4.4RC1 now and I can't remember this a long time even not in 4.3.

Bug reporter says that it's fixed.
