Your window manager (KWin) crashes for some reason. Restart it with $ kwin --replace in a console. And user support goes to the KDE user support channels. No, its not working. Frames appear after this command, but it says in console $ kwin --replace kwin(27826) KDecorationPlugins::loadPlugin: kwin : path "/usr/lib/kde4/kwin3_ozone.so" for "kwin3_ozone" and if i close this console window, or press ctrl+C - my system completely crashes! I can only move my mouse and that's all Taking from the picture, you were still able to change focus. That is you use Compiz. Therefore this bug is invalid. Your last comment supports my assumption. As you can see when you close KWin you can't change windows any more. You would need to enter kwin --replace & to have it working even if you use ctrl+c maybe it is "no border" parameter. when i choose it in a normal window - i see the same sick window i can't move, close, or resize, i can't even deselect this "no board" box!)) please, help)) i've tried to reinstall kwin - all the same. something wrong with kwin. i've tried to enter "kwin --replace" in console a hundred times. so? if i close this console window, kwin crashes in the same moment. what do i need to do to make it work without typing "kwin --replace" every time i switch my notebook on? I'm sorry to tell you that this is not a bug and this is a technical bug tracker and not a support forum. There is http://www.kde-forum.org/ and http://www.kde.org/mailinglists/ lists some user mailinglists. There is also IRC channel #kde if you need help. Nevertheless try alt+f2 (krunner) and type kwin --replace If you close the console KWin is closed as any other application which is started from console. But I'm still quite sure your problem is related to Compiz. |
