If I view a dvd with dolphin it has both the console and the file view on the dvd. If I then try to eject this is refused because dolphin is still on the dvd.

However dolphin could easily switch away from the dvd.

If the eject is not called from within dolphin then dolphin should be notified to close all views with the dvd such that the eject can be executed.

This can be grouped with bug 164255.
@Peter: is this anything related to Dolphin itself or more related to the handling of the devices ?

It is related to Dolphin -> assignment is OK :-)
