Konqueror appearance with additional toolbars enabled

Description krienke 2008-10-06 11:29:24 UTC
Version: Version 4.1.2 (KDE 4.1.2) "release 44.2" (using KDE 4.1.2)
OS: Linux
Installed from: SuSE RPMs

I set up the look (menubar, toolbars, etc) for konqueror and did store this setting in the webbrowsing profile. When starting a new konqueror instance using a button that says "kfmclient openProfile webbrowsing" konqueror starts but often (not always) with two more toolbars eenables that I defined in the webbrowsing profile (HTML toolbar andthe toolbar to let the system read loud text in the browser).
I ll try to attach two small jps to show the differences.

Another problem with these settings is, that the size of the browser window is not keps in the profile. So when I close a konqueror window and the open a new one the new one does not appear in a default size from the profile but instaed in the size the one had I closed just before.

Dear Bug Submitter,

This bug has been stagnant for a long time. Could you help us out and re-test if the bug is valid in the latest version? I am setting the status to NEEDSINFO pending your response, please change the Status back to REPORTED when you respond.

Thank you for helping us make KDE software even better for everyone!

Since I do not use konqueror for webbrowsing any longer already since quite a long time, I cannot tell if the problem I described still persists. However since the bug is very old I think you can close it.

Thanks
Rainer
