Version:           2.0-SVN (using 4.1.1 (KDE 4.1.1), MS Visual Studio 2005 SP1)
Compiler:          cl.exe
OS:                Microsoft Windows (i686) release 5.1 (XP Professional)

Accidentally used "Show under various artist" function on one of albums in my collection. Found the whole album under various artist and tried the vice versa - didn't work. The collection tree collapses as if updated, but no real update happens - the album is still under various artist. Restart of amarok didn't help either.
All songs are in mp3, OS is Windows XP SP3, MSVC build from SVN.

me too same bug...

Workaround that worked for me: select affected tracks in the playlist -> right click then "edit track details" -> even a simple space in the comment tag -> "Save & Close", Well done! now the album is not displayed under various artists.
