when multiple contacts belong to the the same address book contact and you choose to list them under that name in the buddy list, those contacts should automatically be made subcontacts of the 'address book contact'.

Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat.
