While configuring the symbol panels in KDE4 apps I have encountered a bug, that lets the symbols disappear when setting size of the icons to small. I have encountered this with Konqui and Akregator (see screenshot). Going through the settings show that the panel still should be there, I guess the icons are just missplaced out of screen. Changing back the size does not let the icons reapear, but doing this a few times does.
