Description Kieran Hogg 2008-09-28 19:40:29 UTC
Version: (using KDE 4.1.1)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

For the Kubuntu Intrepid release, the global setting for text position in the toolbars has changed to beside. The secondary toolbars in ktorrent don't respect this, I will attach a screenshot.

Can you confirm this *only* happens in KOffice, and not in ktorrent for example which indicates its more probably a kdelibs issue ?
Comment 3 Kieran Hogg 2008-09-28 20:06:15 UTC
Sorry I logged one against ktorrent too believing it was a per-application problem (171809), so I guess it could well be a kdelibs issue.

This is a kdelibs problem, the applications only provide xml files describing the toolbars, menubars and context menus and use the kdeui library to create the interface. Text position is completely handled by the kdeui library.
