(1) Create a weekly recurring event.
(2) Pick one single event of the reccurrence and copy or move it.
(3) The new event is a single event (shown only once) -> expected
(4) Edit the event. The edit window still shows the event as a recurring event.
(5) Saving the event makes it "really" recurring and shows in the calendar.

I cannot reproduce on current Trunk, however, I did discover this related bug while triaging:

Michael, can you retest with KDE4.2?

Sorry, took me a while to get back to. This works fine now (using 4.3).
