Version:           3.3 (using KDE 3.3.1, SuSE)
Compiler:          gcc version 3.3.3 (SuSE Linux)
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.5-7.111-default

Knotes does not save any notes.
When i create note in Kontact they are not saved. If Kontact restarted notes are gone.
When i create note by (right)mouse click on the Knote icon on the system tray then notes are saved, but not if they are created in Kontact

hmmm....I just saw that in the header of the bug report it says "version 3.3" and "using KDE 3.3".
Well, i guess when i cloned this bug report header got also copied.
My system is:
openSUSE 11.0, Linux 2.6.25.16-0.1-pae i686
KDE 3.5.10
Knote version: 0.5
Kontact Conteiner version: 1.2.9

Can you still reproduce on KDE 4 ?
