Version:           0.7.1 (using 4.1.1 (KDE 4.1.1), Kubuntu packages)
Compiler:          gcc
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.24-19-generic

Using the new text selection tool in Okular is harder than it should be:

1. when moving the mouse to select the text, the selection repeatedly disappears and selection has to be started again
2. the highlighting does not correctly reflect the line height, but is rendered smaller/irregular
3. selection is updated very slowly, resulting in poor user feedback

Ok.

Cannot reproduce, screenshot welcome.

Bug #155566, another Qt goodness.

Hi, this works for me as of Okular that will be released with 4.9 next week, can you please update to that version when you have some free time and check if you still have these problems?

If you do i'd appreciate if you can reopen this bug.
