The issue of the location bar having the focus once you enter a URL has been addressed. Unless you manually click on the location bar that should not happen. The other issue regarding PageDown key is one of preference and something that is handled by a class that is part of kdelibs. Hence, marking this ticket as a wishlist to change the afforementioned behavior. Is this expected behaviour? What happens for me is: 1. Display a page. Click in location bar to get focus. 2. Press Page Down. Page which is second in history list is redisplayed. 3. Press Page Down. Existing page is refreshed. Repeat; same happens. 4. Press Page Up. Nothing happens. So all it's possible to do is redisplay the page which was at the top of the history list before the new page was displayed in step 1. This doesn't seem very useful to me. I think it's a bug, and it would be more useful to ignore Page Down, just as Page Up is ignored. In fact, I only encounter this unintentionally when the location bar unexpectedly has the focus (bug 304865). See also bugs 304865 and 304933 where focus goes to the location bar incorrectly. |
