I think Bug #164852, #170751, # 165709 are the same Issue! They are not the same. #170751 and #165709 report that after rotating the Compiz cube the "dummy tasks" are no longer visible in the task manager. This is not the case here. The tasks are still visible unless I disable the Task Manager setting. Also, #164852 mentions something about the systray. The krunner application isn't being launched from the systray. I have the same issue with the task manager on Gentoo using KDE 4.1.2. I do not use compiz or anything but I use TwinView with two screens and a panel with a task manager on each screen (showing only the tasks on this screen). KRunner remains in the task manager after using it and gkrellm does the same after it has been started even though it is set to not appear in the task bar (turning "show only tasks from this desktop" on and off again makes it disappear). That's why I think it might be more of a task manager than a KRunner issue. Same here under 4.1.2 on OpenSUSE with nvidia 177.80 and twinview *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 166924 *** |
