The "Send mesage to group" function should be more flexible because right now we can send mass messages only to already defined groups. 
However, it should be possible to select/deselct only a certain subset (or superset) of contacts to mass message.
So resuming, when selecting the "Send message to group" option every contact in the roster should be available, listed in groups, with the possibility to select more groups with just one click or to fine tune the single contacts.

This is a really useful feature in an office context, where you may want to inform all your collegues in your department but one or two. Or if you want to send the same mass message to two groups without starting the copy%paste galore.

Dear user, unfortunately Kopete is no longer maintained.

Please migrate to another solution, e.g. for Jabber a possibility is Kaidan, for Matrix a candidate is NeoChat.
