Description mcas 2008-09-23 15:57:57 UTC
Version: (using KDE 3.5.9)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

This bug was reported on the ubuntu bug tracker under:
https://bugs.edge.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/kdebase/+bug/44881
Well, if i remember, the problem was that when kde started, the icons were first aligned as if there were no panel. Usually, when the panel did appear, the icons were moved so the panel did not cover them. But sometimes they were not moved and stayed below the panel.

The problem also appeared when arranging icons automatically. The icons were arranged as if then panels were not there. Panels partially covered the icons.

Um, when I said that this bug needed forwarding I meant that a bug about Plasma widgets in general being knocked off the screen after a resolution change should be field.

Could you please close this? The feature seems to be implemented in trunk anyway. Thanks. :-)

Kdesktop is no more mantained. Fortunatly this bug seems not to be valid for
KDE 4. Please reopen if this bug is not a kdesktop one (and it is not solved)
or it can be reproduced on KDE 4.

Thanks.
