Version: (using KDE 4.1.1)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Ubuntu Packages

Hi,

I would like that it continues included a show-desktop button in KDE 4 too. As it was included in KDE 3 and also in Win9x, Win XP and Gnome.

Because it's a really useful feature.

IMHO more evolved or advanced DE it should mean more options... Not less.

Victor .. functionality already present via a plasmoid

if you installed the plasma-addons package, you will find it available via add widgets

after that you can place it where you want

you can now close this bug

Thanks for your answer and explanation... So, I already installed the plasma-addons package. And it is nice how easily one can put this and any other icons anywhere in the desktop or in the panel(s).

Anyway, perhaps it would be better to include the show-desktop widget into the initial widgets installed by default in KDE4, as otherwise one can end thinking that simply the show-desktop widget is gone with the wind.
