Version: 2.1 (using KDE 4.1.1)
OS: Linux

What I'm doing:

*) When I use the shortcut the expected bookmark is opened
*) I close all konsole instances
*) I open a new instance of konsole
*) I use the shortcut
*) Nothing happens
*) I go to shortcuts, no shortcut shown for the bookmark

Expected:
*) Shortcuts usable even when application is restarted

Extra information:
*) I bookmarked a SSH session

I'm seeing something similar, but a slightly different scenario. All I'm wanting to do is to reassign the default keyboard shortcut of ^b to something else. I use vi/vim often and ^b is page-up in that application. With the default shortcut I end up creating unexpected bookmarks when I try to navigate a file in vim.

I reassign the bookmark shortcut from ^b to <shift>^b. All is fine while konsole stays up. If I close konsole, next time I run it the shortcut for bookmark has reverted back to the default of ^b.

In KDE 4.4.x it doesn't appear that you can use shortcut bookmarks.

#1 - that has been fixed in recent versions.

That feature was not available in later versions.
