Actually, Adept does look in /usr/share/app-install icons, but still all of them don't have icons... True, but I am somewhat at a loss where to find those. Might be that the issue is really with app-install-data just being incomplete? I have to admit that it would help to implement the KDE/GNOME/All differentiation we had in Adept Installer previously (and I will look into that for 3.1).
