Unlike Ksnapshot, Kgrab is blanking the entire screen and capturing blackness on my Hardy Heron Kubuntu system, with ATI Radeon HD 2400 graphics.  I am using the ATI proprietary video driver, but sinec Ksnapshot works, I assume this is a general problem with Kgrab.

might have same bug here : when using zone mode to snapshot a zone the screen disapears but apparently select what was selected by mouse ; anyways unpractical !

I am pretty sure kgrab developer will not read this. Maybe there is a better place for this bug. Anyway it looks like kgrab bug, it is not a general KDE bug for sure.
