Version:           1.1 (using 4.1.1 (KDE 4.1.1), Kubuntu packages)
Compiler:          cc
OS:                Linux (i686) release 2.6.27-2-generic

Kontact used to have a feeds section available in its summary, and is now missing in the current KDE4 version. I liked having this feature as I would put news-related feeds on the summary page and blog feeds in akregator.

Yes, that newsticker summary is gone in KDE4.

We don't have anyone working on that at this time.

I, too, would be really happy to see this feature return.
