Description Erica 2008-09-07 05:34:33 UTC
Version: eh, why not: 0.12.7 (using KDE 3.5.9)
OS: Linux
Installed from: Debian stable Packages

Two items for Kopete, unrelated to each other.

1.) "Block all users not on my contact list." This was an option in the Winduhs version, of Yahoo Instant Messenger, that I really liked.

2.) The spelling checker always starts with two words... "HTML" and "pretext" then ends with "HTML"... even though there are no words in the typed text that resemble "HTML" or "pretext." Also the highlighting is off, instead of it being over the questionable word it is over some other block of text. It is NOT even close to critical, but it would be nice if it worked right, that is why I am putting in the wish list section and not bugging it.

Thanks for taking the time to read this!

Cheers,

HousieMousie2

They should have been reported separately then, to make it easier for the developers.

Hello from the KDE Bugsquad!

Unfortunately, Yahoo has discontinued the Yahoo Messenger service, and the code has been removed from Kopete.

Thus, I am closing this bug as "UNMAINTAINED" since it will no longer be fixable, or able to operate due to Yahoo.
